Leadership Team

Founder/ Instructor

Dr. Jason Hunt

A sought-after expert, Jason has collaborated with National Geographic Television, prepped contestants for high-stakes survival shows like Naked & Afraid, Alone, and Outlast, and hosted a faith-driven outdoor series on the WB Network. His words resonate far beyond the screen, regularly gracing the pages of Survivor’s Edge Magazine, Backwoods Survival Guide, and Prepper’s Survival Guide. An accomplished author, Jason’s books, including The Gospel of Survival, Unveiled Truths, and the co-authored Bushcraft First Aid, inspire readers worldwide. At the same time, his contributions to ministry textbooks shape the next generation of spiritual leaders.

Jason’s expertise spans modern survival, wilderness living, and austere medicine, backed by credentials from elite institutions like The Pathfinder School, Randall’s Adventure & Training, NASAR, ASHI, KY Emergency Management, Wilderness Medical Society, and Med-Tact School of Tactical Medicine.

A martial arts master and member of the U.S. Martial Arts Hall of Fame, he holds black belts in Goshin Jujitsu, Kenpo Karate, and Krav Maga and is a Reylson Gracie Jiu Jitsu Black Belt. As an ordained minister with advanced degrees—BMin and MMin in Church Ministry, Th.D. in Practical Theology, and Ph.D.s in Outdoor Ministry Leadership and Biblical Archaeology—Jason weaves faith into his calling, using Biblical Festivals to teach survival as a path to spiritual growth.

Curriculum Developer/ Instructor

Rob Schneider

Rob Schneider is a retired Master Sergeant of the United States Marine Corps with 20 years of decorated service, including multiple deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. He served in various strategic, operational, and tactical roles, most notably as a Contingency Mission Planner for the President and later as Operations Chief for Marine Corps Air Station New River, NC. With a deep commitment to leadership and preparedness, Rob has trained thousands of military personnel and civilians across disciplines such as survival, emergency response, and risk management. He holds a BA in Criminal Justice, an MA in Leadership and Management, and numerous instructor and survival certifications.

Today, Rob continues his mission of service as the owner of Heavy Crown Forge and Crafts, a mobile blacksmithing business that specializes in handcrafted outdoor tools. He also contributes as a Curriculum Developer for Base Readiness and Curriculum Manager for Campcraft Outdoors Field Schools. Driven by a passion for teaching and a heart to give back, Rob shares his blacksmithing skills at local events and offers traveling classes—especially for veterans, first responders, and law enforcement. His journey blends creativity, craftsmanship, and a lifelong commitment to empowering others through practical skill-building and community impact.

Women's Self-Defense Lead

Lindsay "Lamb" Hunt

From the quietest sibling to the fiercest protector, Lindsay “Lamb” Hunt is a warrior with worship in her heart and fire in her spirit.

A Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Blue Belt and Black Belt in Karate, Lindsay has trained in martial arts for over a decade. But her strength runs deeper than technique, it’s rooted in faith, family legacy, and a relentless calling to empower others.

Known as “Lamb” since birth, after her first cry mimicked the bleat of a newborn lamb, Lindsay grew up immersed in discipline and discipleship. Her father, Jason Hunt, a master martial artist and founder of Campcraft Outdoors, began training her from childhood. Jason’s influence gave Lindsay both practical skill and spiritual grit.

Lindsay is also a Certified Basic Survival Instructor, a fitness trainer, and holds an Associate’s degree in Practical Outdoor Ministry. She merges these passions into a unique message: defense is discipleship, and your identity in Christ is your weapon.

Through Lamb’s Jiu Jitsu Outpost, she equips women with self-defense tools, spiritual strategy, and bold apparel to match the mission.

Support Specialist and Field Creative

Daniel Hunt

Daniel Hunt is the younger brother of Lindsay and a vital part of the Lamb’s Jiu Jitsu Outpost mission. A recent high school graduate, Daniel is a Certified Basic Survival Instructor, BJJ Blue Belt, and Karate Black Belt. With a heart for the outdoors and an eye behind the lens, he captures powerful moments in motion, both in training and on the trail.

Known as the “jack of all trades,” Daniel brings dependable strength, servant-hearted support, and creative insight to every part of the Outpost. Whether it’s setting up a seminar, coaching drills, or filming a training session, Daniel shows up ready.

You’ll rarely see him in the spotlight—but you’ll always see his fingerprints on the mission.
